A. We are the premier online dating site for
single and successful singles from all around the globe. Besides
the traditional matching services, we also provide fun and exciting
opportunities for singles to meet, mingle, and match. For more

Q. How can I benefit from your services?
A. If you are serious about
meeting someone who shares your interests, your
background, or your hopes for the future, then
this site can help you. Once you post
your profile on the site, you will automatically
begin to be matched up with existing members
who meet your specified criteria. You can interact
with potential matches through chat rooms, dating
games, off-line events, and more. Whether you're
looking for a friend, a date, or a lover, this
is the place to meet them.
Q. How safe and secure is your service?
A. Our service is very safe. We try
our best to provide security to protect you.
For instance, we've created the email system
that members can only send to each other in
our site internally. By providing this service,
you don't have to worry about your real email
or identity. Don't have to worry about spams
and unexpected emails. When you feel more comfortable
with one of our members, you can give your
real email to him/her. Therefore, you can take
advantage of this system.
Your myaccount/Posting/Editing
Q. What information is required of me in
order to post my profile?
A. In order to post
your profile, we ask that you
complete all the member information,
including name, e-mail address,
personal essays, photos, and
more. The more complete your
profile, the easier it will
be for our database to match
you with potential candidates.
Also, a complete profile sends
a message to other members
that you are serious about
finding someone.
Q. What should I write in my personal profile?
A. Don't view your personal profile
as a test; there are no right or wrong answers.
Be yourself and be honest, otherwise the people
you meet won't be the type you are really looking
for. Don't worry about coming off pretentious
or shallow or egotistical, just be honest and
the right person will come to you.
Q. How can I change my profile information?
A. You can change your profile information
by clicking on "My Account". After
logging in, you will see an icon with your
profile's completion status. Use that link
to change your profile. You can also change
it by click
here.
Q. How much of my information is displayed
to others?
A. Most of your information
will be displayed to other
members except email, birthday,
real name, and other contacting
and billing information.
Q. Is it necessary for me to post my photo?
A. Posting up your profile is optional.
However, profiles with photos statistically
get 18 x time more responses from other
members. Hence, we recommend that
you post at least one photo of yourself. A
recent and nice photo of yourself is best.
Q. What type of photos should I upload or
send to us?
A. You can post any
tasteful and recent photos
of yourself or of group photographs
that include you. However,
if you are only posting one
photo, we do ask that the photo
be only of you and you have
to be in the center of the
photo. If you don' t have a
scanner to scan your picture,
you can send it to through
mail.
Q. Are there guidelines for posting my photo?
A. The photos must be tasteful. No
nude or lingerie photos are allowed. The photo
must also be relatively current and must be of
yourself. Posting misleading or inappropriate
photographs is a reason for removal from the
site. All photos uploaded will be admitted to
our administrative approval. This screening process
will take around 24 hours before approval.
Q. How is my profile viewed by other people?
A. When other members click on your
profile, they will be able to view your photo.
Q. How do I post and edit my photos?
A. Goto My Account and click on the
icon "Your Profile". In that section,
you will see a link to "My Pictures".
Use that page to upload your picture or you
can click here to
do that.
Q. Can I hide my profile when I am not active?
A. We are working on this function.
It will be available soon.
Q. Why was my profile removed or denied?
A. There are many reasons why your profile
was removed or denied from our system. First,
if you did not activate your account within
a week. Second, you did not log in your account
3 months after last login date. Third, you
violated our policies by posting inappropriate
photos or inappropriate content in your profile.

Username/Password
Q. How do I get a username & password?
A. Once you fully complete our membership
application, we will send you your username
and password in your email for your account
confirmation and activation. Hence, please
make sure you provide a correct email address
when you sign up.
Q. What if I forgot my username & password?
A. If you forget your username and/or
password, you can click on “Forgot Password” to
retrieve it. You will need to enter the email
address that you registered with. Then our
database will promptly send you your password
in your email provided.
Q. Can I change my username or password?
A. Yes and no. Your username is your
permanent identification with us
and cannot be changed. Your password can be
changed through your member area. You can click
here to change it.
Q. My username & password are not working,
what should I do?
A. If you have technical
problem with your account,
please send us an email to support@TattooMates.com and
clearly state what is the problem.
Matching/Searching/Browsing
Q. What is simple search?
A. Simple search is a tool that helps
you find your match based on only three criterias
which are gender, age, and country.
Q. What is advanced search?
A. This search tool is more sophisticated
and only paid members can use. By using this
search tool, you can filter out detailed information
from members, limit distance from you, search
for profiles with pictures only, and much much
more.
Q. Can I search for a specific member?
A. Yes. You can search for a specific
member by using the SIMPLE search tool.
Q. Can I search for members with particular
interests?
A. Yes, You can use
our FREE “Match Maker” function
to search for members with
particular interests that you
are interested in. And our
automated search bot will notify
you of potential matches.
Q. Why are there no results for my search?
A. The reason is your search is too
specific. Try to use less criterias in your
searches or make your searches more general.
But it is highly recommended you use our FREE “MatchMaker” function
in order be notified of potential matches you
desire.
Q. My matches are few. How can I enhance
my matches?
A. By specifying less
criterias in your searches.
Be General and there will be
potential matches.
Q. How do I view my personal match list?
A. Your Personal Match list can be found
in the Match
Maker area.
Q. Can I block certain profiles from appearing
in my match list and search results?
A. No. The block feature
only block members from contacting
you either by mail, by instant
messenger service, and chat.
Bookmarking Profiles
Q. What is the bookmark function? How does
it work?
A. You can bookmark
a profile by click on the Add
Buddy link in the view profile
section or use your Buddy
List to add it. After adding
a member to your Buddy List,
you can jog down notes, send
Passion Points, check to see
whether he/she is online, send
Instant Message, and write
emails to them.
Q. A profile disappeared from my bookmarks?
What happened?
A. You must have mistakenly
removed the username profile
from your list. Just add the
member profile to your list
again.
Q. Can I remove a member from my bookmarks?
A. Yes. You can do that by clicking
on the trash can or select it and click on
the "Remove" button
Q. Can I tell if a member bookmarked my profile?
A. Yes. You can view
who has interest in you by
clicking on the menu "Who
has interest in me?" in
your Buddy List window.
Q. What is the block function? How does it
work?
A. Block function is
designed for protecting our
members from being harassed
by other members. It will block
those members from contacting
you through mail, instant messengers,
and even in chat rooms.
Q. Can I block and unblock certain members
from contacting me?
A. Yes. You can add
or remove members from your
block list by clicking on "My
Block List" in your Buddy
List window.
Anonymous Emailing
Q. Why can't I send my email?
A. If you have problem with sending
email on our system, please contact us at support@TattooMates.com.
We will resolve the problem right away.
Q. Can I attach a photo to my
email?
A. No. You can only
send text messages inside our
system. However, users can
still know who sent them the
mail by clicking on the member’s
profile link. It will show
a detailed profile of that
member.
Q. Are the emails that I am sending to members
anonymous?
A. No. Other members
will see your member name as
a sender and they will be able
to view your profile.
Q. How does the function "send this profile
to a friend" work?
A. This function allows you to send member profiles to friends
that you think would be of interest to other members.
Q. Can I block some members from emailing
me?
A. Yes, you can block other members from email you or contacting
you by going to the "Block List" function in that person's profile
and adding their name to your block list.
Q. How do I contact your members?
A. You can contact other members just by clicking on "write
message" to members or send then an "instant message" using your
instant messengers when you are online. There are many forms
of interaction on this site, you just have to explore
all the functions we have provided to you.

Q. I used to be a member.
Can I re-activate my account?
A. Yes. You can come back any time.
Q. When I was registering, the system
stated my email is already taken, why is this
so?
A. If our database states that your email is already taken,
then it probably is. Someone may have signed up under a pretentious
email address to test our website or you may have registered
before but forgot that you have signed up. In any circumstance,
only the true owner of the email address will have access to
it, hence getting your username and password requests to confirm
your membership is proof of your prior registration
on our site.
Q. Do you have an account
management area for members?
A. Yes, once, you log into your account,
you will can click on “My Account” and it will take
you into your account management area.
Q. How do I cancel my membership?
A. You can cancel your membership at any time. Just log into
your account and go to the "My Account" section. There's a link to
cancel your membership with us. You can also click

so.

Q. How can I send my opinions and feedback
to you?
A. Just go to “Contact Us” at
the bottom menu of our website and write us whatever is on your
mind. We would love to hear any positive or constructive feedbacks
